We could enjoy views of a Loch beach and Glenfinnan Monument. It was located in a tranquil area to the railway. We spent 2 nights in there and definitely coming here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The host was always available. Other things like a fridge, a kettle, and central heating were awesome. The terrace had lake view, admired it in the evening. Its location was marvellous and brilliant, 2 km from Ilfracombe Harbour Harbor.

The hotel's decoration was lovely and cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people to navigate. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with clear pathways and no difficult stairs to climb. It made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
It would have been even better if there were more handrails around the hotel, especially in areas that might be a bit slippery. It would have provided extra support and safety for senior people like myself, ensuring a worry-free vacation.

Waking up to the breathtaking view of the loch every morning was absolutely amazing. the cabin's location right by the loch was a major plus, perfect for enjoying some wild swimming and biking along the nearby path. the cabin itself was beautifully designed and well-equipped, with super comfortable pillows and duvets for a relaxing sleep. the shower was a highlight, with surprising pressure and consistent temperature.
The lack of screens on the windows meant that we couldn't open them due to midges, which made the cabin rather warm. It would have been helpful to have a fan or screens to keep the bugs out.

The Ash Cabin at Glenfinnan Retreats was a perfect retreat for us as vegetarians and vegans. the cabin had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay and the view from the bed was stunning. We also enjoyed the little "beach" in front of the cabin and the opportunity for some wild swimming in Loch Sheil. the communication with the owners was excellent and self check-in was hassle-free. We felt very safe and welcomed by everyone we met in Glenfinnan.
Felt at ease, no complaints whatsoever.

Loved having a balcony and free parking, just like every other property I've ever stayed in. Oh, and towels! How could I survive without towels?
I absolutely hated not being able to swim in the Loch from my balcony. Such a disappointment.
